How do you know what is covered as meal or snack at QS location?

Hi, Going in Sept with free QS dining, and how do we know when we reach the counter to order (or while on the line to order), what is covered as a QS meal, and what is covered as a snack? Do the order boards clearly specify this? I am hoping to go without needing to spend any money OOP for food, for the 3 of us. Thanks.

The order board will have an icon that denotes an item can be used as a snack on the menu board. Each place is different, so I usually ask what is considered a QS meal at wherever I am eating. The CM's are used to the question. At the resort hotels, for instance, the adult bounty platter and a beverage counts as a QS meal--but there are other options too. At the Boardwalk bakery it was a croissant sandwich and beverage for breakfast. Usually during lunch and dinner you get a beverage, entree, and dessert.

Hi, check out my thread for all snacks items you can get. (link below). As PP said, all snacks that qualify will have the DDP logo next to them.

The CMs are very helpful as to what is included in your CS meals. Basically it works like this..you get an entree, beverage, and dessert (except at breakfast). Sides are only included (like fries, salad) if offered as a combo meal. There really are no restrictions on what you can order as a meal at CS.

You can definitely do QSDP and not pay anything OOP. We have. The only thing we have paid for, food wise, are the mini donuts at the waterpark. That's it. However, we do have a car and stop at WM or Target to pick up items for breakfast in the room.
