We are tentatively planning on taking the 7/1 - Wonder Cruise.

How can you tell how many rooms are actually available for a cruise?

U can Get a good idea on www.expedia.com
just pretend u r booking a cruise but this method will only show u up to 8 cabins in each cat...

Thanks for the tip about looking on Expedia. That is a great way to still see what rooms are available. I would be so excited if we got upgraded in November! I would assume that happens when a cruise is not sold out, and I'm curious how often that happens.
We are booked Cat 6 in Room 5130.

Don't bet your life on it...

Some TAs once posted those systems don't show all availability. I personnaly can not confirm, but seem to remember them saying the on-line booking systems available to the public only show up to 7 or 8 rooms in each category, and not even the vacancies in the room blocks reserved to be sold by agencies that sell a lot of Disney.

For example, All Seas, Dreams, etc. reserve blocks of rooms that they sell, and these rooms would not typically show up (even if they are vacant while you are searching.

If those TAs who posted about this (some time ago) or others can clarify...

I was looking at Expedia to possibly change to the 4/25 cruise. Expedia showed multiple rooms available but when I tried to book, they said those rooms were not available to quads (4 people in a room) and may not even be available for three. Apparently there are certian allocations. So even if the rooms show available, they were not. I called twice, same answer.
