Two years ago for Christmas I bought my mom the Disney Animators Collection plush doll of Tinker Bell and for over a year she has had it sitting on her bed until my cat started to chew on Tinker Bell's shoes to the point where Tinker Bell's feet are wet and her outfit is showing teeny tiny holes in it. And this surprised me because my mom has kept Tinker Bell in pristine condition and now Mom cannot put her on the bed because my cat might chew up Tinker Bell's feet and her shoes. Will this affect it's collector value and what should we do about it? Should Mom put her Tinker Bell plush doll in a safe place or should I buy Mom a replacement doll?
