How do you get the AAA parking pass?

Hopefully some one knows the answer. I have read about this pass but am uncertian about it. We are AAA members.Can we book the car through AAA or does it have to be the hotel also in order to get the pass?

To my knowledge you must book a package through AAA.

A reminder -- The AAA (and CAA) pass lets you park in one of the closer in lots you can walk to rather than wait for a tram, only. You still pay the normal fee for parking if you are staying off site and don't have an annual pass.

Some AAA offices will give you a pass if you buy tickets rather than a whole package. The ones in Orlando/Kissimme won't, but I found one in the Chicago area that will.

AAA.com offers the parking pass with ticket purchase. You don't have to buy a package or anything else.Go to the travel section click on Disney tickets and then click on AAA member benefits.It states that the diamond parking pass will be mailed with your tickets or if you go to will call the pass will be there with your tickets. This is from that section:

I used to work for aaa in maryland and we were told to give them out to anyone buying tickets- 1 per adult ticket.

One tip, if you are planning to go to the Magic Kingdom (TTC) Parking Lot, the lot that is use for AAA parking is a rather far walk from the TTC Entrance, you are better off parking in the regular parking area at TTC/Magic Kingdom parking lots then take the Tram to the Entarnce.
