How do you get rid of GATOR?

Hi,
I ran Ad-Aware several time. I also have Norton Systemworks, and deleted the cache and cookies.
When I ran Ad-Aware again this morning, Gator showed up again as:
software/gator.com
How can I delete this program?

What operating system are you using? Generally from the Windows control panel you can add/delete programs. Go into that listing, and choose to delete Gator. Then run your Ad-Aware software again to get rid of registry references to Gator.

I checked under the Control panel, add/delete programs.
Gator is not listed there.
Although, it still shows up when I run Ad-Aware as:
software/gator.com
Any other suggestions?

Check to see if you have GAIN in your add/remove programs. This program is the source of most of the pop-ups.
