In my sleepless nights nowadays I am thinking of what things could I possibly have forgotten and one of them is this...

How does one climb into the carriage with her dress if she has a long train? :lmao:

My train is pretty darn long and I wasn't planning on bustling them because it's a pain to bustle and unbustle...
So... is it possible to climb into the carriage without bustling your dress?

TIA!!! :)

I am pretty sure that I saw a thread of a bride with a long train. I think they basically lift it and fold it into the carriage....

I have a cathedral train so hopefully the footmen have muscles to lift it :rotfl:

I had the carriage and all I can say is relax, the footman help you and hold the dress, they tell you to make sure your foot is down before you take the next step. It is disney remember. A bit of disney magic and you are in the carriage. Tust me on the day this wont even enter into your head. You will be so excited. The footman will be there for you whilst you husband to be will be waiting for you!!!

Good luck

Oooooohh.... footman...
Yes... how could I have forgotten? :lmao:

Thanks everyone... see what my brain comes up with while I'm trying to sleep?

Cseca,

I see you are having your ceremony the same place I am. I also have the carriage. I was wondering, are you pulling up to the front entrance or are you entering from the side? Can the people see the carriage if you go down the side entrance (the long way). I was wondering if I should just do the front (shorter) entrance so that people can see me pull up in the carriage.

My planner said the only way they'll do it is to start at the back entrance by the gallery (in front of those surrey rentals). If you know of another way let me know, seems like that's the only option they gave me... :confused3
