How do you get from your resort to the Marathon Expo?

What is the easiest way to get from either POR or POP to the expo? Also, can you walk from POR directly to your starting corral, or do you need to check in somewhere in the Epcot parking lot on race morning?

Last year they had special busses running to the expo. The morning of the race they had special busses running as well that brought DH to epcot. What exactly happened after he got on the bus I don't know, but I'm certain that he had to do the check-in there.

ON the mro\\orning of the race you will catch a bus that takes you to where the sign up tents are EPCOT parking lot). From there, you walk a short distance to your corrals. And yes- they do run busses to the Expo from your resort and have the busses at the expo waiting to return you back to your resort. As I recall though- the busses don;t run all that late into the evening, so be sure to get there early!

I thought I read once that if you stayed at POR, POFQ, or OKW, it was as simple as walking straight to the corral, no check-in, and you didn't have to get up as early as those that need to catch a bus. Anyone done this before?

If you get your chip and bib, and corral assignment at the expo, what other check in do you have to do race morning?

There isn't really any check-in on the morning of the race unless you want to use bag-check. Even that is just a pass through.

I haven't walked although there are some who have on these boards. You might try over on the WISH competition boards. (See the pull down menu-- it's toward the bottom of the list.) I'll bet someone can tell you what walking to the line is like.

No.... you pick up your race chips etc. the day before the race at the Expo. If you have bag to check before the race- you do it at the parking lot. Sorry if I didn't make that clear!
