How do you find the week after Thanksgiving to be for crowds and weather?

We are planning a trip in December 2024 and thinking about arriving mid-week the week after Thanksgiving. We have been to Disney before and have a good understanding of crowd levels.

Imagining the crowds will be moderate that week? Is the weather decent? We don't mind warm weather but looking to avoid the intense humidity. Also fine with wearing a jacket at night.

Shhhhhf! Nobody tell them how great it is so we can keep the crowds down :)

It really is a great time because the Thanksgiving crowds are gone, the weather can be warm or cool, low humidity.

Still crowded, especially with DVC folks, because lower points and the Christmas parties, decorations, etc. are available.

We'll be there then, too!

Good to read.

We are trying to decide between Boardwalk Inn or Gran Destino. We know Gran Destino is buses only, but the price difference is pretty good.
But I like the look of Boardwalk's new rooms and we like the ambiance. We also think the walking to Epcot and DHS is great.

Will research more as we have time.

Keep in mind that the Boardwalk is a deluxe so you get Extra Evening Hours whereas Gran Destino is moderate and does not. That makes a difference for some people.

Just in case you didn't see, 2024 bookings open on May 31. Unsure if it is for the entire year though. Apparently it's been that you can only book up to 500 days out. I chatted with Disney site who said it's opening up for the entire year.
