How do you find the FP+ kiosks?

The only thing I've read about the 4th+ FP kiosks are that their locations seem to change a lot. So how do you know where they're located in each park? Can any recent visitors report where they've seen them?

And does everyone you're wanting an FP for have to be standing at the kiosk, or if our accounts are linked in MDE, can just one of us do it?

Thanks!

Look on the park map the day(s) you are there.
The kiosks (for the most part) are listed.

Any one person in your party who is authorized on MDE to make FP+ can book a 4th (or 5th, etc.) FP+ of the day at a kiosk... for the entire party.

They're marked on the park maps. It's really not as difficult as some people make it seem. Only one person needs to go to the kiosk.

I had a real knack of getting to the right area and not spotting the kiosks (don't ask! :headache:) and ended up asking a CM a few times! They're always happy to help (even when you're stood RIGHT next to the Kiosk and can't see for looking!)

I've just asked a cm where the closest one was if I wasn't sure. They are always happy to point me in the right direction.

Thanks everyone! I tend to breeze right past the park maps, but I'll be sure to grab one!

BudgieMama, I had to laugh. This is *so* me.

I have to take exception to this.
Why?

Because if someone wanted to know how to get to Splash Mtn., I could instantly show them on several different maps
TODAY and, no matter when they were going to MK, they could get to Splash Mtn.

If someone wanted to know how to get to Test Track (TT,) I could instantly show them on several different maps
TODAY and, no matter when they were going to Epcot, they could get to TT.

If someone wanted to know how to get to Toy Story Mania (TSM,) I could instantly show them on several different maps
TODAY and, no matter when they were going to DHS, they could get to TSM.

If someone wanted to know how to get to Expedition Everest (ExpE,) I could instantly show them on several different maps
TODAY and, no matter when they were going to DAK, they could get to ExpE.

The above is not the case with several of the FP+ kiosks at the parks.

I guess we'll have to agree to disagree.

You look on the map and if you still can't find it, you ask a CM. I don't think there is anything remotely difficult about that.

I assumed the new kiosks would be in old fastpass machine locations.

Comparing a small kiosk to a permanent building really isn't accurate.

If you want something similar, see if you can do the same thing for characters. How many times have Mickey and Minnie moved in DHS this year? What about Snow and Mary in MK? Or Stitch before he left? And almost no one could easily tell where Pocahontas/Tarzan's spot is. And what about characters like the Tremaines who switch spots based on the time of day?

Kiosks really don't move as often as people seem to believe they do.

For anyone looking: https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/guest-services/fastpass-plus-kiosks/ has the current locations of all kiosks

Inaccurate and incomplete.
Like so many listings on the "official" WDW website.

Really? Because those are definitely the kiosks I use when I am there.

For someone who is still in the planning phase and doesn't have a CM to walk up to and ask, that list will at least give them an idea of where to go, even if they can't spatially recognize everything yet

the kiosks moved a lot in the beginning - like they were trying to figure out where they would work best or it was some kind of 'survival of the fittest' FP+ game - if you found a kiosk you won!

Now the locations have somewhat stabilized. We keep an eye out as we roam each park and mentally make notes of where we see kiosks or CMs with tablets for future reference.

Wow, this is crazy. I guess they figure if you can't find 'em, you can't use 'em.

I only used the kiosk in MK. It was in the pathway between Frontierland and Adventureland. Once you saw it you knew it was the place.

The one in Epcot is easier to find. It is in the pathway between The Land and Test Track. That one was easier to see. It is across from the Character Spot. It was in the shade and was pretty organized.

I didn't see any in the other two parks.

Sometimes even asking a CM or keeping an eye out for them doesn't work. I was in WDW over Easter Week this past April. I asked a CM in MK if the Hall of Presidents FP+ location was open (I had read here that it is open during busy times). She had no idea what I was talking about, and it wasn't on the map either. She had to call over a manager. The manager said it was indeed open. I walked right in, no line at all. The next day in EPCOT I saw a FP+ kiosk sign that was near Innoventions (on the right side when you walk through the center of the park, way before you get to the Character Spot location). I made a note of it and went back to that spot a couple of hours later. I walked back and forth several times, but I couldn't find it! I thought I'd lost my mind until I saw a CM. I told her what I'd seen. She said there had been a FP+ kiosk there all morning, but after lunch they had closed it down and put away the sign.

We've always found the kiosks at MK near Jungle Cruise, in the cross-through between Adventureland and frontierland, and the one by Stitch to be open and well marked.

The one in the center of HS is a disaster, so we go to the one near Muppets.

Never used one at EPCOT, but I do agree it disappears!

Not sure where there is one at AK, as we haven't booked a 4th FP+ there.
