Any good ways to store luggage in a dusty place that does not involve a giant trash bag and tape?
that's what I use tooI have some large, clear trash bags I use to store stuff like this in my attic. They are called recycling bags, and they are pretty tough. Some places make people bag recycling in clear bags.
Mine came with soft covers that fit over the suitcases for storage. You can also find covers on Amazon.
That's the best solution I have found.Any good ways to store luggage in a dusty place that does not involve a giant trash bag and tape?
Kind of off-topic, but does anyone use covers when traveling? We have the hard sided cases that we bought but I'm worried they're going to get scratched/dinged up (already happened with a soft sided cases with Mickey's face on it, other suitcase had the wheel broken off when we arrived). We purchased some off Amazon but they didn't hold up very well and split at the seams.
I’ve never seen luggage traveling in covers. I’m trying to visualize the carousel at baggage claim and there are no covers in my memory. Given that the airline industry seems to go from crisis to crisis in recent years, we never check bags unless we need to check a bag on the return trip due to purchases (rarely done.)Luggage should be purchased with the understanding that it will get beat up. There is nothing you can really do to stop that, unless you never check bags on planes.
