Most people count down their days by starting from today and ending on the day they arrive.

Our family counts down like this:

You don't count today 'cause it's already here.
You don't count the day you arrive 'cause you're already there.

Everybody thinks we are soooo silly to count that way.

Anybody else do it like us?

That's how I count :thumbsup2 . Especially with Disney. I would almost not even count the day before we leave, because that day is just as exciting, and apart of the vacation! :rotfl:

hmmm. well we're leaving at 3:00 A.M. this saturday mornin', but i'm wanting to call it friday nite lol.:rolleyes1

That is how we do it too!!!

We are leaving April 11 for 9 glorious days in DisneyWorld!!!

I haven't been in 2 very long years and I usually go there 3 times a year!

We are staying at good ole Pop Century and I was able to book all of my dining with no problems at all, got all the Character meals and everything.

Now we are debating on going to the P&P but I think we are going to splurge a little bit.

Hip Hip Hooray!:woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

That's the way we count too!:thumbsup2
I thought I might be counting differently because my ticker count never matched the number I counted.:confused3 Then again, I am blonde and thought that my math was off!:lmao:
As it gets closer to trip time we like to count the "working days" til WDW.
Anything to make the time fly by!:cloud9:

Yeah, I tend not to include weekends when getting close, for example we're going to DLRP on March 10th so six days! :cool1:  :cool1:

I'm dyscalculic (it's kind of like dyslexia, but with math instead of with reading), and while mine is not as serious as a lot of cases I've heard about, I tend to have some trouble counting off days on calendars, let alone trying to adjust for today and the day of departure! If I could count that way without putting some effort into it, I would, but it's easiest for me to just use a countdown on my desktop. Mine currently says 15 days, 22 hours, 32 minutes, but the way I'm looking at it, 15 days is 15 days no matter how many hours follow on the tail end of them! :D

I also tend to count how many weekends we have because that's the only real time I have to get ready for the trip. We work all week and have homework so it's knid of hard to prepare for a trip on week days.
