Favorite way to prepare hot dogs?

I like them grilled but one time I had them wrapped in bacon and deep fried

You startled me, monkeyboy. Cooking dogs? I was thinking canines and I was appalled for a moment!

Hot dogs are one of the few things that DD eats so I make them several different ways--boil them, grill them, wrap them in cheese and crescent roll dough and bake, wrap bacon and cheese around them and bake them--sometimes you just have to make them as bad as they can possibly be.

Grilled usually, but in a pinch, if I need it cooked quickly (e.g. if a certain toddler wants dinner right then and there ), I'll pop them in the microwave for a minute or so.

OMG wrapped in bacon and deep fried?!!!!!! Good grief that sounds horrible and SO YUMMY! Anyway, as I said in the other thread, I like mine grilled, and the blacker the better!!!

I personally like the Healthy Choice Beef hot dogs.

7 minutes boiled and dinner is ready!

I was going to ask if anyone has ever had them deep fried. I've never but I've heard their yummy!

Grilled or broiled! I just like them crispy!!!!! (maybe deep-fried would be good...hmmmmm....)

Grill is my favorite way, but DD will not eat them grilled...

Deep fried is very good, but takes too much effort to get the oil hot, blah..blah..blah...

My husband like them boiled, but I prefer them grilled. Ialso like to slice them open once they are heated and melt cheese on them.

Don't tell anyone,OK? but I microwave them briefly, then hold them on a fork over one of the gas burners on our stove until they are browned. It's almost like camping out!!!
