How do you check online?

I've seen some posts noting the ability to go online..(somewhere)..and see what resorts have rooms available etc..etc. I didn't know we could do that! I always thought we had to call the 407 disney people and let them tell you what's available. Is it true that we can cruise a website to see what type of rooms/resorts are available for a specific time frame? If so, would someone share the link?

I just wish we were able to see what days are full and what days actually are available. We were trying to make a last minute ressie for our 10th anniversary (poor planning on our part, but BUSY year!!) and when I enter my dates I just get an error that there are no rooms available for the dates I provided and that I need to change my dates.

It's like the lottery or bingo. I have no way of knowing which night or if it's all nights that are messing me up. Like, there could be no rooms available for my first night but all the other nights are available or it could be a night right in the middle of my stay.

I wish we could see something like the airlines have, a calendar of sorts, w/ the day NOT available grayed out or something.

Have you tried calling 407-W-DISNEY? They might be able to find a room for you that you can't see online. I did this once and go a room at the CBR even though it said there were no rooms available.
