How do you check a reservation online?

On the members' website, under "My DVC", select "Points". Scroll down and click on "View Vacation Details".

The page that comes up shows "Upcoming Vacations" and then "Completed Vacations".

Is this possible?

Thanks and have a great night :thanks:
Unfortunately... this was not possible last time I checked... and to the best of my knowlege... it still isn't possible. This is definately an area where DVC is significantly behind the technology curve.

In my other condo association (not DVC)... we can book virtually all of our reservations online using a system that lets us see day-by day availability of every room type at every one of the 60 resorts... and lets us book (and cancel) nearly all of them online.

Right now... DVC is really in the dark ages of providing user friendly online tools. I suspect this will change over time. To DVC's credit... their telephone staff is very well trained, and very professional. No complaints at all about the staff. I sure wish they had longer telephone hours. 6am - 2pm is quite restrictive IMHO.

I stand corrected. I guess you can view reservations... but you cannot make reservations online if I understand the current system properly.

Yes you are right we can not book on line.

Yes Yes you can make ressies online and than view them at your member site :) I sent in for a reservation at my Home, BCV, for a studio for Dec 3-17 online, you just fillout the form under Planning- make reservation. I received a confirmation email 3 days later :Pinkbounc When I go to member site I just check under points and it shows my upcoming vaction how many points I used and how many I have left and also shows the completed vacations!I did this at my 11 month window and have received a mail confirmation too. Check it out!

Wow, didn't know this was now possible. Of course, even though I've been on the member site before it still asks me for my PIN every time I try to go back. UGH. I guess when I call for my next reservation I'll try to get that straightened out again.

After my call to MS yesterday I was directly to a survey. One of the questions was "How do you want to make reservations - Phone, fax, email, on-line?"

I do not condsider this being able to "book online". This is the equivalent of sending an email or fax... because a human being still ends up booking the reservation for you.

What I think is required is the ability to see the inventory real time, and be able to instantly book and get confirmations... without ever having a disney reservations person involved. Other companies can do this already. I suspect that we will have it eventually, but I wish it would happen sooner.
