How do you carry your tickets/fp/etc. in the parks?

Another pin wearing lanyard person here!

I found some ID holders with zip type tops on them at an office supply store...use a key ring to attach to lanyard (had a bad experience with the clip on strappy thing) and off we go!

PS...my TA told me they will transfer your paper tickets to your room key at your resort if you ask!

I have been looking for kid sized ones for them to keep some small items in...went to KMART and did not find any. Will go to Walmart tomorrow...thanks~

The kid fanny packs for $1.00 at WalMart are small. I don't think they will fit an autograph book. Thats why I didn't get them.

That was my main concern for our last trip-- that my 4yo could carry her own autograph book. So I bought an inexpensive one and modified it so that it fit her.

Really it just took cutting off and re-sewing one of the straps changing it from adjustable to VERY short (and not adjustable). The other side's still adjustable.

Her clicky marker and autograph book fit in it nicely and she was SO happy to be in charge of her own stuff. :)

:wave2:

I found a very thin mans leather wallet at Wal-Mart. It doesn't even fold, it's just a stiff square of leather with enough 'slots' for about 10 credit cards. One side has a clear winder for showing your id, and the main slot in the middle is large enough for a decent amount of cash (or more cards). I like it so much I use it as my main wallet at home. What's great about it is that I can just pop it in my pocket, I don't need a fanny pack or backpack to carry it. So my cash, credit card, room key and park ticket are all nice and handy and I'm not loaded down like a Grand Canyon pack mule.

I use one of these $0.97 lanyard pouches from WalMart:

I use the "passporter passholder" which is a nylon pouch that you wear around your neck. It is small, and light as a feather, but yet has enough pockets to hold your "key to the world", cash, a ink pen, a folded map and several other things. (WHen I have my picture taken I either swing it around to my back or hide it under my shirt. )
You can order it at the Passporter website for around $7

I splurged and bought the fast pass/annual pass holder/lanyard at Disney. It was $7 but came with a huge castle pin attached to it. I really like it and it holds several passes... ::MinnieMo

I think that this may be what I am looking for. Was it easy to find (hotel gift shops etc.) or just at the parks? I was looking for something last night at the disney store but they had nothing.
Thanks
Mary

I'd like to splurge as well. Do you remember where at Disney you bought it?
Thanks.

I carry my wallet, but I take everything out by my id, my debit card, and both of our tickets. Everything else either stays at home or goes into the room safe.

Then we have a small, one strap backpack (one of the canvas mickey mouse club ones). It's got tons of pockets for the digital camera, a cellphone, 2 bottles of water, ponchos and a small bottle of aspirin (the MOST important thing). It's not big or obtrusive or heavy, and we take turns carrying it.

Having never been to WDW before, I'm a little bit concerned about what to carry things in. I'm a purse person and of course, Mama has to carry everything even Dad's wallet!

So I've been wondering what to carry on the plane, while we're in the parks, strolling through DT, etc.

I bought a travel wallet at Target that has an ID pocket, slots (with velcro!) for CC, a long zippered side for whatever (since we're at WDW, we're broke so that one will stay empty :rotfl: ) maps maybe, a small zippered pouch for change and a pen holder.

I'm thinking I'll wear that on the plane, pack a fanny pack (that the wallet fits in) for the parks and then I'll be good to go either way.

Is this a good plan? What am I forgetting that I will need?

I found the fastpass holder/lanyard at the shop near the autopia exit...I also saw them next to Space Mountain in the shop near the exit. Hope this helps!

If you want one of the fastpass/ticket holder before you get to Disney, they have some on ebay. I was checking them out. They have a few different ones. I don't think I saw any with the lanyard, but they had one that looked like a keychain and it had a bottle holder on it too, and then they have the ones that clip on with the retractable thingy

I too got the fast pass holder at Disney!! it was too cute to pass up!! i got mine at the TOT gift shop in MGM!

My DH uses a waterproof neck lanyard thing that we got on the DCL. It's like a clear box, slim and really cute!

Hey this is great! :) Thanks for the info.

We have a small camera case that we carry. The front holds our licenses, tickets, fast pass, money, lip balm, & ibuprofen. Its about 4"x6".-or 3x5??

I used a small credit card/ ID wallet by Buxton that I got at the Samsonite store for $4.99. It worked fabulous! It had slots for everyones tickets and my credit cards and a place for my ID. Snapped closed and was easy for DH to carry in his cargo shorts.

Nope, not the really interesting looking ones.

I personally can't stand wearing fanny packs, and backpacks are just too bulky. I bought a couple pair of the newer Speedo bathing suits, and they came with a waterproof card and money holder attached to the back pocket. Absolutely indestructible!
