How do you calculate one transfer per year?

I have a September use year. In June 2024, I received a transfer of October 2024 points.

That transfer occurred in my September 2023 use year.

I am now in my September 2024 use year. Can I do another transfer now? Or do I have to wait one year from when I did the last transfer, which would be June 2025?

I believe it goes by use year.

It’s the UY of the points you receive and not when you get them.

Since you got October 2024 points they count as your transfer for your 2024 UY.

The next set of points you can get is 2025 UY points.

And note that while you are in any given use year, you can do two transfers, one for the use year you are in and one for the next use year. During your Sep 2023 use year, you did a transfer applicable to your Sep 2024 use year and thus you have done your one transfer for the Sep 2024 use year, but today you could have Feb, March, April, June, August, Sep, Oct or Dec 2025 use year points transferred to you, which would count as your one Sep 2025 use year transfer, and could be used for a reservation starting as early as the first day of the transferred use year.

Just to follow up on this, I completed a transfer to recieve August 2025 points and all went smoothly!

Yes because they are 2025 UY points. They would now count as your March 2025 UY transfer.
