How do you book late September (7months) with only 28 days in Feb?

We are looking to book for September 29, then have to book separate for October 1 (because of our use year). When can we do this since Feb only has 28 days? Does Feb 28 allow you to book Sept 29 and 30 and then October 1 on March 1?

To book 9/29 or 9/30 check-in date at 7 months, you have to wait until March 1.
