How do you actually use/view your planned itineraries in the parks?

I also have my cheat sheets by day and by whole trip. That way the pictures are just of that day on the phone.

I havent tried this app yet, but I plan to play around with it to see if it will work

I just got that app on my iPad a couple of days ago. Not sure why, it doesn't give me an option to create a document, I can only create a spreadsheet, and for me, I think it's just easier to create a note. I did want to try using a spreadsheet and color code things, but I don't think I have the patience to use that app. I am not used to creating spreadsheets, I guess. I would be interested to know if you like the app.

I have 1 printed sheet with all our reservations numbers, JUST in case our phones die. I have my main spreadsheet saved to my Google Drive and can view it on my phone. Since FP+ started, I screenshot the My Plans in MDE for the day, and save that as my phone's lock screen, that way I can just turn the screen on for a few seconds to check the times of our FP+. Saves a bit of battery, and you don't need any data connection right at that moment :)

I don't have such an intensive schedule but I use a variety of different tools to access large amounts of information from spreadsheets (for other purposes), travel itinerary, etc.

You can get Excel for iPhone which I do use. I either use it or I put the file on Dropbox and access it.

I use Tripit which is a trip itinerary app for iPhone. I like it because you can put everything from flights, ground transfers, activities, etc. which can also include booking information and who to contact in the event of issues, airport maps, reservation numbers, etc. I always use this for travel; you can also share it with non-travellers who can access it online on their website so that family can see where you are and contact information in the event that they need to contact you. I use this for WDW and DCL cruise travel because I can put in my dining plans, excursions, which days to go to which parks. I've never used it for something as detailed as a touring plan, but it's possible.

I also use OneNote which is on OneDrive so it can be accessed from my computer and iPhone/iPad. I use it for trip planning and put all kinds of information about the locations I'm going to. For our upcoming cruise, I have pages on my OneNote that has descriptions of some of the locations we're going to in Copenhagen, Stockholm, etc. with photos.

I missed this post and just made a post about your brilliant lock screen strategy! Love it! :)

Before I leave on my trip, I go to the My Reservations section of the MyDisneyExperience website, and I save the entire page as a PDF and put it in Dropbox. While I'm in the park, I primarily refer to the app, but there have been times when the app wouldn't load, wouldn't refresh, or had some other error, so I liked having an official copy quickly available. I also usually put a copy of my plans into Evernote.

Also, when making FPs at the kiosks, I always take a picture of the screen once I've got my new FP. The cast members have suggested that more than once, so if the system glitches and it doesn't show up in the app, at least I've got my photo showing my reservation.

Old school, here. I have a "Travel Planning" notebook with our itinerary listed day by day, and keep that in my backpack (yes, we are "backpack people"). The notebook also has info such as phone numbers for our hotel, travel health insurance, etc.

While waiting in line, or eating lunch or any other downtime, I can whip out the notebook and remind myself of our plans for that day. Of course, aside from actual FP+ reservations, or entertainment that we have placed as top priority, the plans are tentative and subject to change, whim, or "oh my god, look at that short wait, let's jump in line".

I don't do full out ride by ride itineraries. I do a one sheet table..columns across for the days we will be here and rows down for breakfast, morning plans, must do attractions, lunch, afternoon plans, must do attractions, dinner, evening plans, must do attractions, and then a row for park hours/crowd levels.

For the meals, I put in adr restauarants and confirmation #s, or just "counter service". For the "morning, afternoon, evening plans" I put the park we are going to. Must do attractions became the spot to put our fp+ reservations.

The entire trip all fits on 1 printed out page, which I fold up and put in the small ID holder I bring into the parks instead of my full wallet. Small, easy to access, and works for the whole trip.

Total Type A personality here. Yes....one of those people with a Disney spreadsheet. I know, I know.

So, I've got this spreadsheet that I've put countless hours of effort into with our "ideal in a perfect world" itineraries and all the important info and whatnot. But now I'm stumped as to how to actually access that info in the parks. I thought about just printing out the spreadsheet/s and carrying them in our backpack or stroller, but has anyone else tried anything different? We're iPhone people - but I don't know if I can get an excel spreadsheet onto my iPhone?

Office Plus, have it on my Iphone. It is a paid app that includes word processing and xcel

I used to use a spreadsheet and take it with me; now that I'm getting older and have become so much more familiar with WDW, I don't use a spreadsheet. I use MDE on my smartphone and to play it safe I also print a copy of my plans from the MDE website and also print my reservations, ADR's and FP+ from Disney's website as well. You can never be too careful considering how often their website does not work correctly (as it is doing this very moment, LOL).

Combination of Evernote, Lines and My Disney Experience on my iPhone :)
