How do u know what section for WoC Picnic?

We just bought our WoC picnics online and the email gives all the information except what "color" we are in.
I have been reading threads on WoC and everyone talks about the blue, red & yellow sections. So I was just wondering how/ when we find out what color we have??

I am pretty sure that when you pick up your picnic box, you will have a FP included which will have your color section on it.
I am wondering if it matters when/what time you pick up you picnic: like if the FP are given out in a particular order so the earlier the better, or is it from when you ordered them on line ?

I don't believe it matter when you pick up your box. All picnics are one color (just don't remember what color/section that is.)

Picnics are blue or yellow fastpasses. Some people have reported that picking up your meal earlier in the day results in blue and later results in yellow. I'm not sure that has been confirmed. For sure you'll get one of these two sections.

This has been reported and thus confirmed by many posters. Disney itself has not stated this but it has seem to have been prooved over time by guest experiences.

I didn't see it in Funballs post, but you can pick them up until 1 hour before the first show of the night.
