Well thank you everyone for your help so far with suggestions on good TS places to go to on the DDP. After talking with my future DH, I think we have chosen them!! I would love to hear what you all think.

1. Boma (for a breakfast before going to Universal *the dark side*)
2. ESPN Club
3. Yak & Yeti
4. Sci Fi Dine In Theater
5. Captain's Grill
6. Via Napoli

I know we don't have anything in Magic Kingdom, but once we find out when the EMH's are for our trip, we will decided when we go to each one, and I think probably do a split day for MK. Get there early, leave for lunch somewhere (probably one in AK since we are staying at Coronado), and go back to MK at night. I know we didn't pick the fanciest and probably most romantic places, but my fiance got to choose some, and he is just a big kid so I let him have his choices!:lovestruc

they look yummy , although I prefer prime time or mama melrose to Sci-fi

sci-fi is definitely for my fiance! He is a HUGE movie person and this is right up his ally. He could tell you the people in movies, who made it, directed, produced, ect ect. He's crazy. Sports, music, and movies are his thing.

I thnk they are great, wouldnt change a thing

Thank you!! Quick question if anyone knows the answer... When will i be able to find out when EMHs are for September next year? How far in advanced they usually announce this?

Right now they have park hours up through April 2012. So that's 6 months in advance. But keep in mind, those EMH days can and do change as you get closer to the date. (For example, the EMH's for our trip in December changed slightly in the last month.) I would make ADR's as early as possible if you have any really difficult-to-get reservations -- Cinderella's Royal Table, or other popular character meals -- so you get what you want. Just be ready to make adjustments if they change EMH days.

We just made our reservations for our December trip this week -- 2 months out -- and were able to get reservations at all but the character meals. (No Crystal Palace, no Chef Mickey's, etc.)

ETA: I think your dining choices sound great and are very future-hubby friendly. My DH loves the ESPN Club and I actually liked it, too. They have a ton of TV's and play fun trivia games from time to time with the audience.

Thanks so much for the info! I am just trying to coordinate my ADRs with what days we would be going to what parks. I can make my ADRs in March, so the only one i have set in stone is that we will do Boma on Wednesday because that is the day we plan to go to Universal. Thanks for the confidence with the choices! He was happy that I let him choose. He let me choose a lot for the wedding, so this was for him :)

I think you have picked wisely. I have eaten at all of those (except not that ESPN Club) and they are all excellent in their own way. You have a nice variety of location, atmosphere and food choices.

Here's my 2c.
1. Boma: Wonderful experience, exotic African flavors, plenty of variety to not be too risky, beautiful opportunity to explore AKL.
2. ESPN Club: Diverse American menu, something for everyone, Sports environment, opportunity to explore the Boardwalk Area, ride a Surrey bike.
3. Yak n Yetis: Beautiful little restaurant, Asian/Chinese with some unique flavors and some traditional Chinese dishes. Great way to end a day at AK.
4. Sci Fi: Spectacular, unique atmosphere. Basic menu, average food. But a great way to enjoy a burger and shake. Remember you'll be sharing a car with 2 others.
5. Captain's Grille. The other side of the lake to ESPN. Decent steaks at moderate price, diverse menu, nice location. Walk the other side of the Boardwalk area...go nextdoor to Beaches and Cream and get a hot fudge sundae. Check out storm-along bay.
6. Via Napoli: Great thin NY style pizza. Beautiful restaurant, excellent salad. Watch the chefs move the pies in/out of the brick oven.

For EMH hours, usually available ~6 months ahead, but can change.

Thank you so much :) I am excited to go to the Boardwalk. It was one place that we never went to on my first *and only* Disney trip that my family made a few years ago. Seems like a great place to stroll around with my new husband. He is going to love that Sci Fi Theater, let me tell you! We will be okay with sharing the car I think. We are pretty understanding and okay with that.

Personally I would change ESPN & Captains Grill. (Well & VN but I know a lot of people like it, we might eventually give it a try again but that won't be for a long long time). ESPN is run of the mill, I would pick something in Epcot if you are going to be in the area, and I assume you want a 1 credit place, otherwise I would suggest Flying Fish.
As for Captains Grill, didn't care for lunch there. Food wasn't good & service was so so.

Thank you for the advice. ESPN is more for my fiance, so that is one that is not getting changed. He was excited for the choice and I am okay with it. We both are huge sports fans, and I wanted him to be able to have some say. Captain's Grill was one I was torn between, but my fiance looked at the menu between that and a couple others and this is what he chose. I might go back and find a steakhouse to go to. He didn't want Le Cellier because things were too... "fancy" for him. He likes simple food, nothing witha lot of ingredients and garnishes on them.
