how do these pin codes work?

If you are lucky to receive a pin code are they only available for use on specific dates or can you use them for whenever you are booking?
If you already have a holiday booked and you receive a pin code can you apply the discount to your booking?
Also if you have a holiday booked and Disney bring out a discount(eg. free dining or room discounts) for the time that corresponds with your booking will they apply the discount to your booking?
Am looking at end of June for 2011,is there any chance of discounts of any sort being offered for this time or is this peak summer season where you pay full rate ?

The discounts for June of 2011 won't be released to the general public until after the 1st of the year. As for the Pin Codes, sign up on the WDW web site (if you haven't already) and create a couple of itineraries saying that you are not staying on Disney property (no hurry in doing this since your trip isn't until next summer). And most discounts are for specific dates. Once there is a dicount or Pin that you can use, you can call and have it applied to your existing reservation
