Here are my ADR's for Disney. They are all subject to change, and I am trying to get Mama Melrose for the fantasmic dinner package instead of the Hollywood and Vine, but right now they are full.

9/29

Arrive 3:24pm

Will I have enough time to get from the airport to the resort, and then to Capn Jacks by 6:55? Should I make it later? I think if I make it later my kids will be STARVING!

THANKS!

Your choices look great! :thumbsup2 If I may make a comment or two...
I noticed that on several days you have two TS meals booked. It is just my humble opinion, yet 2 in one day can be overwhelming, especially with kids. And I noticed you have 'Ohana booked for breakfast and for dinner on the same day?? Yet as I said-just giving my humble opinion! We are just a "one TS a day" kind of family.;)

Sometimes we go WILD WITH ADR'S. I have done that. I have booked so many character meals we are CRAZED BY THE LAST ONE. Since you are going during free dining I can also understand your wanting to get the most of it too. Just be prepared to can some ......because things do change and you don't want to short change YOUR MAGICAL FUN....racing to meet a ADR time. Just be flexible. You have to remember that sometimes our plan of the day will change for whatever reason and that could affect your ADR for that day/night.

Yeah I really don't like to do 2 TS in one day either. I was thinking of cancelling the breakfast Ohana, but haven't decided yet. I wanted to have a couple extra reservations in case we don't make it to one. Last time we had a really hard time making it to our ADR's on time.

What do you think about making it to Cap N Jacks that first night? Is that a bad idea?

The reason I have the late dinners is because I figured if we went to Universal or the beach on those days we would be back in time for dinner. Is that realistic?

Thanks for both of your input. That's exactly what I was thinking about having to cancel some. I actually would prefer counter service so we dont' have to plan so much. I have to make plenty of ADR's, then cancel if need be because I just had gastric bypass, and can only eat a SMALL portion so basically I can nibble off one of the kids. I will have to use 4 credits at the buffets/preplated, but the others we will just use 3 credits. If we don't use them all then that's fine. Maybe I should have planned more Signature dining, but we don't like to have to dress up either. We are in our play clothes at disney. Shorts and T's. Those should be fine at these restaurants right?

"Having a couple of extra reservations..." is really frowned upon. It just isn't fair to other families hoping to get an ADR. As for Cap N Jacks-I think you will be fine with ressies for that time, though maybe a bit rushed getting there. Maybe you could just plan to eat at the hotel or a CS that first night to make it alittle more stressfree? Especially after travelling all day and getting in later in the afternoon. Again, just my opinion.;)

Well my intention is to make it to all the reservations, but if I have to cancel one then I won't find myself with 4 TS credits we won't be able to use. But things do happen where you can't make it sometimes.
