Dfi and I each started WW online last night. My sister got married this past weekend and seeing myself in pictures was the last straw. We're getting married in a little more than 5 months and I'm hoping to bring myself down at least 30lbs by then. My goal is to have one chin in my wedding photos, lol.

That being said, how do the WW snacks taste? I'm going grocery shopping on friday and am revamping my shopping list. Any recommendations?

Also should I invest in the points calculator? It's only $10 and I think it might be easier than carrying all my food over to the computer.

Thanks and Hi!

 Hi, Lauren! Congratulations on your upcoming wedding.

I have been doing WW for a long time now and I'm currently a lifetime member. WW is a great program and the goal you have set for yourself seems very doable. As far as the points calculator goes, I would say spend the $10, it is definitely worth it. I have the cardboard points finder in the kitchen and I carry the calculator in my purse, it is always great to have it at my finger tips. As for the snacks, they are good, but just be careful not to over indulge, if you eat more than the serving size in a day the points are more than just doubling what the box says. For example, the 1 point cakes and cookies become 3 points if you eat two, so you have to be careful.

There is a great WW thread on this board, http://disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1784525. If you have a chance stop by and say hello, there are some great ladies there and lots of good ideas and support.

Good luck on your journey!

Onward and downward.

Hi!

I like the slide calculator as well. I like some of the WW foods including the chocolate snack cakes, the carmel snack cakes, the yogurt, the english muffins and some of the ww frozen dinners (salisbury steak and asparagus, lasagna and schezwan chicken are my favorites).

Good luck towards your goal!

i have a slide calc and it was fine for me too.

most all WW foods i have tried are good, especially the ice cream treats and frozen meals
