How do the toll hightways work?

We have never been to WDW before and wondered about the tolls from MCO to Windsor Hills. How much change etc do we need? Toll highways are not that common here in BC!!! Well, except for the Coquihalla which suck $10 out of our pockets like a hoover!

The toll highways take cash. There are lanes for those who use exact change only, those who require change or exclusively for those using a transponder. The booth will have a sign overhead clearly indicating which it is. It's always a good idea to have a lot of small bills and change readily available (do not leave it in your car). Sometimes you will have the tolls payable on the exit ramps as well. Most often they are exact change - usually under $1.

Hi Crazymama - when are you there?? We are headed to Windsor Hills this Saturday for 2 weeks! A 6 bedroom house - can't wait. I had this same question a few weeks ago and I believe you need $2.75 total to do the airport to I92 where we get off. You should try to buy a roll of US quarters or get change while you are at the airport as it is easier to just drive through and toss your coins in the machine.
