Still green with just a hint of color here in the Bluegrass. I am not a fan of Fall (because it means cooler weather and signals the onset of Winter), but it's kind of freaky to see so much green this far into October.
Last weekend we were in Mackinaw City and it was just starting to get pretty up there. They say it's peak in the UP, but here in the middle part of the state the leaves are still mostly green, with an occasional red or orange tree in the mix. Probably another week or two to get really pretty here.
Autumn is my favorite season, but we sure are getting a lot of rain and below normal temperatures this year so I'm kind of feeling cheated.
We just came back from North Conway, NH and the colors were gorgeous. It is very much peak or close to it there. Around here in Massachusetts, there are areas of color but alot of trees have not turned yet.
The billion pine trees are green. The three non-pine trees are green. Still in the 90s in Florida right now! Maybe in a few weeks we'll get a little cooler and a little color.
However, this is what it looks like in our backyard in Maine. These were taken last year at this time, so I'm guessing it looks pretty much the same right now. I'm sure this is what you're asking about.
