I am looking at booking our airfare for our trip in the fall. If it goes down after we book the trip, how do we adjust it? Can you please explain this process to me? Thank you!

you are issued a confirmation number. If you see a cheaper flight, cancel your original and re-book the flight. There is a place to put the confirmation number for the funds. That's pretty much it...or at least what I do all the time

If the new, lower price is not a Ding fare, you don't need to cancel the original. Just click on "View or Change Your Flight" on the homepage. Once you change your flights, you will still have the same ressie #.
If the new price is a Ding fare, you have to cancel the original. $ paid before will be stored with ressie #. When booking new flights, enter original ressie # in section called Ticketless Travel Funds.
Either way, you have 1 yr. from the original date to use the credit and can also get a 6 month extension if you call before your credits expire.

To let you know how it worked for me...... I had to cancel a trip completely that I booked through "DING". I was issued an airline credit that I had 1 year to use. I booked another trip within that year that cost more than my original credit. After I completed the trip (after I traveled) I mailed my itinerary along with my credits to a SWA address in TX and the credit was issued toward the credit card that I used to book the second trip. Get it? I was leary of how it would work, but it worked just fine and I got the credit very quickly. Good luck.....................P
