Hi and welcome!!

The very first thread on this board is a FAQ on scrapbooking - there are tons of advice and ideas on it. I would suggest reading that.

You might also want to buy a couple of magazines, such as Creating Keepsakes and visit some websites (www.twopeasinabucket.com or www.dmarie.com) for examples and tips.

You will need paper, scissors, acid free glue sticks and photo stickers, etc.

Scrapbooking is lots of fun but very addictive!!

That's how I started scrapping... "scraplifting" (copying) other people's layouts. From there, once I got confident, I started coming up with my own ideas.

While you're checking out 2peas and Creating Keepsakes sites, check around for "Becki Higgins sketches". I bought the magazine last year and still to this day use it! I KNOW the sketches are on 2peas and I believe there are a couple new ones posted each month on the CK site.

There are some beautiful pages to view and some really great techniques to learn. I have been having trouble lately with some of the links but if you keep poking around they will eventually work. we dont have creative memories in australia but i did pick up my first scrap booking kit
