How do I snag T-Rex?

No matter what date I try it's either 5p or 10p that is open during our week.

Call the restaurant directly. Don't have the number with me, but I'm sure you can look it up. They only release a small fraction of reservations to the Disney system. If you call, you can pretty much get any day/time you want. And you can still use Dining Plan if that's a concern.

We did it in August with no problem at all and used the Dining Plan. Got a 12:00 lunch reservation on a Saturday. Online, they'd been booked solid with nothing available for months! Good luck!

Does the restaurant give you a confirmation number like you get through Disney Dining? I am having the same issue trying to get a reservation. We are going in July and my boys want to eat there so badly. I'm just afraid of making a regular reservation and being told they don't have it once I get there. It wouldn't be the first time that's happened!

Is this the place in downtown disney? I went there 2 weeks ago for dinner. No reservation needed - it seats like 900 people. I just walked in?

Yes, T-rex is not owned by Disney, so you can make reservations directly with the restaurant.

This is 1 of my ADRs I am really looking forward to! I booked it through Disney website and got a 2PM lunch ADR, which is ok for me bc we have an ADR at Ohana for Breakfast that morning at 9:00 and then we are going into MK for Pirate League for my son and then we are heading to DTD for the 2PM At TREX followed by some shopping lol and then Sanaa for Dinner at like 7:00, Hopefully we will get enough time in for shopping...I am hoping it will only take like an hour in a half for lunch so it gives us like 3 hours to shop, lol

I am so happy to find this post. I had made an ADR for the day we are checking out, but now I think we might head over to Sea World that day, and I have been trying to change it with no luck at all. I will definitely call and try to make a new reservation. Thank you!
