How Do I Link My Undercover Tourist Tickets to My Disney Experience?

Okay I'm all signed up and I have my tickets but I can't figure out how to apply them or link them to my new MDE. Help! Once someone tells me how, will it be obvious how you make FPs?? And by linking tickets and making FPs that doesn't USE them somehow, right? They're still unused and unexpired when I go to use them next month?

Correct, your tickets aren't used until you go into the park.

When you purchase your tickets, you will be given a multi-digit code. You just enter that code on MDE on the ticket reservations page, select the individuals who the tickets should be applied to, and that’s it. It’s all linked. You make your FP+ when allowed to (depending if you’re staying onsite or not) and they are considered “used” once you physically enter a park, same as a ticket directly purchased from Disney.

I found it in their Disney faq. https://www.undercovertourist.com/faq/#after-your-purchase

On the My Disney Experiencewebsite: After your log in, select My Reservations and Tickets from the MDE dropdown menu. Select Link Tickets under Tickets and Passes and enter your reservation number listed on the E-ticket PDF found in your Undercover Tourist account or your E-Tickets are Ready email. A list of your E-tickets will be displayed, and you can then assign the ticket/tickets to yourself, someone in your friends & family list, or a new guest.

From the My Disney Experienceapp: You can scan the bar code on your E-ticket PDF found in your Undercover Tourist account or your E-Tickets are Ready email. From the app, select My Reservations and follow the instructions listed under Link a Ticket or Pass.

For the record and in case a new user is having the same problem, I'm getting an error trying to link tickets on the website. I haven't tried the app...I'll probably wait and see if it resolves itself today and keep trying the website.

Joy indeed...I finally noticed that it was showing me as Canada next to my username. So I changed it back to US, but then it sent me to log in, would partially load the plans page, then back to log in, in an endless loop. Finally I put /dining on the end of the URL manually, THEN changed to US, THEN logged in and now all is well. For the moment. lol

I’m getting an error as well when I try to link my UT tickets. Is there a waiting period after getting your e-tickets before it can let you link them to MDX? I tried to link them as soon as I got them.

I was unable to link my Tickets purchased by UT. I ended up calling Disney and they linked them for me

Just be aware, once you link your tickets, they are not refundable or exchangeable. So be sure you are going to use them and they are the ones you want. (Can upgrade once get to Disney but not before, ie, if want to add a day)

If you bought e-tickets, how long did it take for them to process and arrive? I just ordered mine and am excited and impatient haha.

Undercover Tourist called me to verify my charges before they sent me my codes. I was buying tickets for Disneyland and Disneyworld so they tested charges to my credit card and I had to share the exact amount placed on hold. After that I got my codes within 5 minutes and went to the website to add to my Disneyworld reservation.

i just did that today too. thanks for the tip.
I am glad you were able to link your tickets. I just realized that I bought our tickets directly from Disney and we bought our Universal tickets through UT. Our hotel was booked with UT and I had to contact Disney to link the reservation to MDE.
