How do I get to a pre-opening park ADR with a scooter from the Fort?

I booked an 8:25 Be Our Guest breakfast for our MK day the Sunday after Thanksgiving thinking that I would cancel it if they changed the opening to 8 am. But they just updated the park hours for the week of Thanksgiving and MK is opening at 8 everyday except that Sunday. So now I'm thinking I might want to keep the ADR to get into the park ahead of the 9 am open.

So what are my choices if we have an electric scooter in our party? The scooter is not a rental and it is the kind that can be taken apart in pieces to fit in the trunk of a car, so I'm wondering if we could just take it apart and carry it in pieces onto the boat to the contemporary? Only takes like 30 seconds to take it apart and put it back together, honestly it takes me longer to fold our stroller. Do you think that would work? Is there a bus somewhere that the scooter could go on to get the MK?

Last but not least- what time do you suggest we arrive at the boat dock or bus stop to get to the 8:25 ADR on time?

Take the boat from The Fort to Contemporary, then either drive the scooter to MK or take the monorail.

I don't think scooters can get on the small boat to the CR. There is a step at the entrance. The MK boat won't run until 8:30ish if opening is at 9:00. I'd call the Fort for suggestions. You may have to try for a different time.

I know we can't drive the scooter onto the resort boat but do you know if they will they let us carry it on then?

I would talk with a CM at check and and see what they can do to help.

1) The boats from the Fort to WL to CR are the "Friendship" launches.
2) They ONLY do not accept ECV's if the water level is too low for the ramp.
3) Which usually only happens durning the Fall.

NOTE: For other boat excursions, if you get one of the small boats (cruisers that look like a small pirate ship), the ECV must be disassembled, it simply "carried on". The boats are too small to allow an assembled ECV to block the aisle in the event of an emergency,

Alternate to boats, bus/walk to WL and catch the MK bus there.

was there earlier this month and we had the same problem. did like the last poster suggested. took the bus to wilderness lodge and then on to magic kingdom. the wilderness lodge bus picks up at the settlement bus depot where the restaurants are.

Thank you guys so much! I did not realize there was a bus from the fort directly to the wilderness lodge and then another bus directly to MK. That's awesome!

Is it possible to walk to Wilderness Lodge? With loading the scooter onto buses being such a pain I'm wondering if he can just ride the scooter over to the lodge and then get on the bus to MK from there? I thought there was a jogging trail or something, but I don't know if an ECV could go on that?

Yes, just realize there are no lights on either path so you might need a flashlight if it is before or after daylight. There are two paths, one along the road that comes out at the front of WL by the bus stops. I would take that one. The other is along Bay Lake and can be rough and comes out behind WL.

I have only taken the one along Bay Lake. It took me about 20-30 minutes, but I stopped to take pictures and talk to a jogger.
