It's wonderful :cool1:

I was able to get an adult DQ ticket for $21 with the information from the
mousesavers newsletter. The discount was only go for 20 days.
expired on 8/15/05

I bought our tickets from Ticketmania a few weeks ago after watching several different websites for several months. I got 4 adult 10-day park hoppers, non-expiring, with 5 options (Pleasure Island, DisneyQuest or the waterparks) for $358, tax included and shipping was free. The other prices ranged all the way up to $410 so I got a pretty good deal. They arrived right when they were supposed to, along with a whole bunch of Orlando maps and coupons. I had read that Ticketmania was reputable, but just to check their customer service, I called the office number with a question in the middle of ordering online. I wanted to see if I got put on hold, or if I got a human. I got a very helpful human on a Saturday morning :)

I know that I shouldn't look a gift horse in the mouth when it comes to Disney and especially with tickets, but I went through the mousesavers newsletter link and the savings off of a 7 Day basic w/o Expiration was $9 as was the same with the 7 Day Hopper w/o Expiration.

Am I missing something? I keep hearing about people saving lots of $$$$ by going through mousesavers and ticketmania, but $18 doesn't seem like big $$$.

Should I be saving more and I am just not doing something right?

I need 2 adult tickets and 1 chils ticket.

Also, is the savings only good for 7 Day tickets? I actually would like only a 3 day ticket, but there is no savings there through the link.

I am going for the 7 day because we are going next year also, but don't qualify for an AP.

I think you are missing something, somehow. The actual savings would be almost $15 per adult ticket on a 7-day basic that expires, and over $19.50 for a 7-day basic that doesn't expire. The gate prices with tax and the discounted price are listed right there on the special page that is linked from the newsletter... you just need to subtract one price from the other to see the savings.

You are correct that there is no additional MouseSavers Newsletter discount on the 3-day ticket. I think the extra newsletter discounts start at 5 days or longer.

I found some really good prices for the 2 and 3 day tickets (these are very hard to find). Go to discountorlandovacation.com and the last I checked they had both 2 and 3 day tickets WITH a Disneyquest option. Shipping is free. I actually contacted them (by phone or e-mail, can't remember) and asked them to notify me when they had specials for any of the 2 or 3 day tickets, and they did. The first time I went to that website it might have been through the mousesavers newsletter link. In general, Ticketmania.com (through the mousesavers newsletter link) had the best deals for all tickets. Mapleleaf.com tickets was higher, Floridaorlandotickets.net was about the same but they have a shipping charge, officialticketcenter.com had the 3-day hopper too, their prices othewise were about the same but they also charge a shipping fee. At the gate, advanced purchase through Disney and at the Disney Store were all the very highest. I watched and compared all these ticket prices for over 3 months. You've got to do your homework :sunny:

After all of the figuring, we have decided to go with getting AP's. With our DVC discount it would be silly for us not to.

Thanks to all that replied!
