We have discovered that we can save about $130 per person on airfare if we fly into Tampa rather than MCO.

Now I just have to figure out a way to get us from Tampa to WDW!!

Do I have any other option besides renting a car and driving to Orlando once we get there? We won't have a need for a rental car, as we are staying on site and are used to using Disney's transportation system. I know that some airports run shuttles back and forth if they are close enough to each other, and I was wondering if this was the case for Tampa and Orlando?

Thanks!

Easiest (and probably cheapest) is to rent a car. Some of the limo companies will take you (I think yourride) but I have to think renting a car will be cheaper.

I agree with Lewisc. We have family in Tampa and always combine that visit with a trip to WDW. We rent a car (cheaper than a shuttle). It is an easy drive(about 2 hours). If you rent from Alamo or National you could return the car on arrival at WDW ( Dolphin or car care center) then rent one again for your return trip back to the airport. Dollar has a desk at the Courtyard by Marriot in DTD if that's more convienent.

I agree, rent a car for a day. It is an easy drive and has never ever taken me more than 75 minutes to get to OKW. In fact, sometimes it has taken 60 mins.
