We are going to Disney world January 25th through the 31st and we have only been one otehr time where we drove to eat our dinners. I made our ADR not thinking and now I am wondering if the buses are going to be running and if so how do I catch one from the POP to the locations? Do I have to ride the bus to a park and hop on a bus to the resort and what happens if the buses stop running? Wow, i am just full of questions! lol! I need an expert! Here is our ADR:
Thursday 8:20 PM Chef Mickey’s
Friday ’Ohana’s 8:15 PM
Saturday 1900 Park Fare
Sunday Akershus Royal Banquet Hall 8:00
Monday The Garden Grill 8:00
Tuesday Liberty Tree 7:35

Do you think they are to late? I will be traveling with DH, DD 1, DD4, DD7 who are used to eating earlier but we want to catch the fireworks and all before we eat so what time do you think is better if you think they are to late. Also, Is the garden grill and the liberty tree good places to eat?

I would love to eat at 7 but the fireworks do not start until 6:30 so i was thinking that we would need the time to watch the fireworks and then head to the places we are eating.

The last day we are just getting breakfast so if anyone could recomend something that would be great!

Yes you will have to transfer at a park or Downtown Disney. Just allow at least an hour to go from your resort to a park to another resort.

Chef Mickey's: take your bus to the Magic Kingdom and either monorail or walk over.

If the park buses are not running when you finish, take the bus to Downtown Disney/Pleasure Island and then your bus home. This however is very time consuming and if you are really tired the $15 or less for a taxi back to your resort might well be worth it.

I don't think they are too late. With the parks closing early if you eat any earlier you will miss alot of park time. Just have a late lunch and afternoon snack.

Thanks so much! We are not taking carseats with us so we do not really feel safe taking the kids (1, 4 and 7) without them. I wish we could but we are already taking 2 strollers and our bags so I am thinking we would have to pay a ton in over the limit weight. Thanks again!

Just so you know GG and LTT I think serve the same meal. Sometimes you have to wait a little before you are seated. Be sure to bring snacks to tide them over. A good breakfast spot for us is Crystal Palace. Pooh Characters and a great breakfast buffett. We like LTT and have never eaten at GG-Good luck. I think that you should be fine with the buses.
