How do I get a code???

Ok, we have ressies for CBR but want to upgrade to Poly Sept 4-9. All I can get is the rack rate which is basically $1000 more Poly and that just seems crazy! So, how do I get a PIN or one of these other 40% codes??? I tried calling to see what the best offer was for Poly and it is no different than what I am getting on the wdw site. Any suggestions? Going to the poly 10/21-10/25. I'll let you know if I hear of anything as well. Right now the best I can do is AAA.

I read the links in the codes for dummies post but it seems a ton of people on here already have a 3 letter code??? and since I have always been registered with disney online, etc. I am wondering why I don't qualify for one? I have visited more than 10 times with the most recent being in 2003. I am just curious as to who they are profiling for the codes and how if anyone has insight. I already checked my profile with disney and everything is current, etc. I have called twice with no luck (

Just like the post says - we don't know how they do the selecting.

Lots of us have theories.. but NONE of us know. That's the bottom line. It's seemingly quite random.

Most likely candidates are people have been at least once before... and don't go for a year or two. But there are many exceptions to that statement..

If you read the "Everything You Need to Know about 40% Off" post.. it links to another site that has posted the three letter code for that. Most people these days haven't had much luck using that code without a PIN -- you may try if you wish.

I just tried yesterday using the infamous "code" and was told it is attached to a pin and it isn't available to me. How to get a code is the million dollar question!

I think this code thing is all up to the CM. I've called so many times that I think they finally got tired of me calling and gave me the pin.

Those of you with the code, when are you going?? I called today to check out Aug 6-13. CM took about 25 minutes to check AAA rates for values and mods-twice I had to ask if she was still on the line. At one point, I was told that I asked so many questions (really just checking rates at POP, ASMU, and CB) that she had to reenter all of the info each time. I did ask if I had a PIN< and she said yes, but it didn't come up for anything for my dates. I will be calling back and hoping to get someone more helpful, but I am wondering when all of you travellers are getting the 40% discount for. Also, do you have to book a package?? Thanks for the info!

You may have this promo attached.. or a different 30% offer thats only valid thru the end of May or who knows..

Just read through the Everything .... post. Thanks. My dates aren't on there, so I guess that's why the CM said that even though I had a pin, nothing showed up with it. Now, how could I arrange another trip for a few days during those dates.........
Not going to happen!! I just need to work on the August trip with my DD and 2DS's!

WELL I finally hit the jackpot!! I had an idea to have my mom call and see if she had a pin code attached to her name (she is going with us in Sept) and sure enough she had one! She booked us at GF 20-24 Sept 40% off!! Its a magical day
