How do I find out if our cruise is fully booked?

We were also having trouble with booked cruise. We have 3 actual adults booked and one child that is charged as an adult and 2 other childern. We booked 2 category 6 rooms which are connecting rooms on the 5th floor. We wanted to add another adult to our cruise but they told us that the cruise was booked and that they are allowing more children but not more adults. So we were going to put the child we have booked as an adult to a child and add the adult...if this is making any sense to anyone lol...but i just went on the disney cruise website to find that their are still rooms available for the May 20th land and sea vacation! how can this be?? i know that children cant book rooms for themselves!
