How do I am Memory Maker to my room only reservation? Got card in mail

Hi I preordered memory maker on a room only reservation. Got the card in the mail today. What do I do with it? Do I put it on my Disney experience or physically take this card somewhere?

problem with that is I am rope dropping that park day after arrival and don't want to mess around with waiting in line etc.

Think I could just go to MK on arrival day (we are at GFV) and take care of it at the guest relations window the day prior to going into the park>

I'm confused here. You don't really need to do anything with the card do you?

I think you just enter the number on MDE, and then brig it with you to the park to have the photopass guys scan.

I guess I sort of hoped/thought I entered the number from home on my Disney experience and it was all tied to my magic band and I didn't have to worry about the card. Now someone tells me they got an email saying to bring the card to the park? I ca't understand why. The Disney page is vague saying if you have a pkg enter the number onto your Disney experience. I dont' have a pkg. I have a room only? Not sure if that is the same thing for this case or if they are referring to off site guests having no room reservation of any sort...

I have a room only reservation. When I bought my Memory Maker there was a code on the confirmation page. I went to the MDE website, and the last section on the page that listed my resvation, there was a button to link Memory Maker, and that is when I entered the code. It was then all linked up and showing on MDE.

thanks! Ok I just checked my paperwork and yes there is a code and it matches the code on my giftcard. So I went and connected it to mde. It asked what person to associate the card with, only let me pick one. I picked myself. Now can I assume it will be available to all other people on my account and this is now tied to my magic band and no paperwork or check in etc is necessary at the first park I visit to get anything else for memory maker?

yes not a bad idea. I will just try to deal with it the night before my MK day. Don't want to be messing with it on my park days. It looks like it linked but I am going to call them tomorrow to be sure.....

I had MM in FEB. mine was will call pickup but I just put will call number into MDE and that linked it to my MB. At will Call I was given card that Photo ppl could scan or they could scan my MB. WE mostly used our MB except at rides where we used card. It didn't seem to matter if they scanned my Band or my friends I can see all the pictures. Far as I know the assigning is only for ordering/downloading pictures.
