How do I add our park tickets to MDE?

I bought our tickets from Disney directly and I want to add them to MDE so we can see them on the app. In the confirmation email I only see the option to print them. And when I log into MDE I can't see an option to add them. What am I missing?

Are you going to Disneyland? MDE is wdw only. There’s a separate Disneyland app you can add your tickets to.

Do you have the free DL app on your smart phone? (As the pp said, it's just called the DL app, not MDE, at DLR.) If not, download it. Where you log in, you'll see "My Tickets" on the front page. Tap that and follow the instructions. It's pretty easy. You can scan your tickets in and name them. Make sure to take a photo or screen shot of each ticket with a clear image of the bar code and numbers, just for safety. It can really help you in case the tickets get lost or stolen. We've had DISers be able to replace their tickets at Guest Services quickly and easily because they could show CMs the photo or screen shot.

Just to clarify - it's the "Disneyland" app.

As said previously, MDE is WDW only.

Aww ok that makes sense. I assumed they were the same thing. I'm having my husband download the app as he'll have data on his phone each day. Thanks I'll try it tonight. I did print out the tickets to as a back up.

The DL app is going to be your good friend each day in the parks. You'll use it for ride wait times, Max Pass (if you get it), FP availability and return times, dining reservations, mobile ordering, maps, restroom locations, entertainment schedule, etc. Make sure to have your credit card loaded on your app if you want to buy MP or use mobile ordering. That will make things go much quicker.

Make sure to have a portable charging brick/bank for your phone as you will go through the battery quicker than you think.
