Family of 5 heading to Disneyland in mid November, looking at staying at the Cambria Hotel Anaheim, which meets all my requirements, EXCEPT being super close to Disneyland!

If we were to plan on using Uber to and from the park, how easy or hard is that likely to be? We would need an XL, and I'm not sure if we would end up with long wait times to get a car?

It will be the kids first visit (ages 9, 9, and 12), long awaited trip from New Zealand, and we aren't likely to be back any time soon. Only have 4 nights/ 5 days, so plan to maximise park time and want to make it as easy as possible.

For the mornings heading to the park, you can always schedule your ride ahead of time if you know what time you want to leave every morning. It may cost the same or a little more than scheduling on the fly, but it's helpful to guarantee yourself a ride at the time you want it.

That said, while I have not Ubered with a family of 5, usually just 1-3 of us, I've ubered to the parks and back a LOT and there is usually an ABUNDANCE of cars available all hours of the day and night in the Anaheim Resort area. Uber/Lyft drivers sometimes stick right to that 2-3 mile park radius, because they know they can do about 3 rides in an hour if they're picking up people staying close to the parks.

Thanks! Appreciate that info. Good point re: scheduling for mornings!

I also wouldn't discount taxi services. I believe that there are usually taxis in the pickup/drop-off area. They're usually comparably priced to uber/lyft
