I'm thinking of making ADRS at Ohanas for this trip, but have never set foot on the monorail before. If you catch it at the MK does it go straight to the resorts? Any chance of catching a wrong one and ending up in Epcot instead? Know it's kind of a silly question, but I've never ridden them before and not sure of exactly what to do.

When you leave the MK there are two monorail lines, get on the one to the left (The resort line) the Polynesian will be your third stop. It's very well marked, and very easy.

The monorail is my kids favorite ride.. It is a neat experience and yes it will go the polynesian where Ohana's is. It stops at a few other hotels as well as the trans and ticket center. Just listen to the announcements about what the next stop is and you will be fine. Besides you cant miss the theming of the polynesian. As far as getting on the monorail. It is possible to get on the wrong one if you don't read the signs. There is a sign posted above each of the monorail entrances that tells where that line goes. There is also usually a cast member close by, you can always do a double check and ask them which is the right one. Have a great time. And don't forget, close to closing time the monorail is very packed so try to schedule your adr accordingly.

Just make sure you get on the Resort Monorail and you'll be fine! ;)

It's also an easy walk if you would prefer to avoid the Monorail altogether. :)

You must mean if you take the MK ferry....to TTC.....right?

It's next to impossible to walk from the MK to the Poly, at least safely.

There is also a boat that will take you to the Grand, and then the Poly directly if you like that option. It's just to the left of the Monorail station.
