How difficult is it to get dining reservations at DL?

I am planning my first trip to DL, and we will be going at kind of an off time 11/14-11/16. I want to be sure and get a princess meal during our stay. Is it as difficult to get dining reservations at DL as it is at WDW? I've been able to find *something* at WDW without calling on the 180 date exactly. But I want to be prepared if I need to call at exactly 60 days out to get our particular reservation. We just want that one meal, lunch or dinner either day.

TIA!

I honestly have never had an issue getting PS. You can call 60 days in advance.

During that time of year you could probably call a week in advance and have no problem getting a PS reservation.

My understanding is that the Princess meal goes pretty fast, so you might want to call somewhere closer to 60 days than one week before.

If it were me I would call when they open your time frame, but I like to get it taken care of, so I don't have to worry about it later. You just have to take into consideration your dates and all. If it might be crowded with holiday things, and also Locals who sometimes like to just go have a meal there. That is what the Disney Travel company told me when I called to book my trip. If you're wanting some of the more popular places you may want to call asap, like BB, Minnie, and friends, Goofy's, Princesses, also even carnation cafe.

I've never had problems getting ressies, but to be safe call out as early as you can for the ones you know you want. You can always change them if need be.
