I was very disappointed! All that singing, and hardly anything of WDW. But I realize what would have made me happy, a 2 hour long traveloge, showing everything around WDW, probably would have seemed like "Just one big commercial for WDW" to a lot of others. However, to me, this was really too much the other extreme. So what did everyone else think?

It was okay, but I didn't watch the whole thing.

I was just jealous not to be there!

Oh you mean that really fakey WDW commercial?
That's what it looked like to me- very cheesey.

I was mad that they put cut-scenes from Monsters Inc while showing you the ride at DCA.. made it confusing of what ride actually looks like. Granted they likely weren't ready for a real soft opening but would have like to see how much $$ they invested in this re make of a ride building.

I liked the end with the singing of We Wish You a Merry Christmas at each of the parks.
I recognized one of the DL CMs in a green elf outfit. I remember seeing him in other parades at the park.. sad I won't be going back for two years - wahhhhhhhhhhh...

I was amazed that aside from the couple people from the Disney Channel, I knew none of the singers......there were a lot of them too, weren't there? I also thought it was too jumpy and all over the place. Not one of my favorites.

I didn't get to watch it. They're not showing it until 3 tomorrow morning here. So I won't be watching this year.

And no I'm not bitter about this at all

I watched part of it, but I thought it was not as good as it has been in past years. I also thought Kelly Ripa seemed like she didn't want to be there, and I cannot stand Ryan Seacrest.

I would have rather seen a better parade, than all of the other parks.

The one really good part was John O'Hurley performing Be Our Guest and dancing with Belle. princess: John was on Dancing with the Stars, you may remember. Now he's dancing with a Disney star. :)

I liked the show better when they actually showed the parade rather than just quick scenes of it. It was fun to actually feel like you were there watching it.

When was this recorded? Monsters Inc. is definitely in soft openings right now. I was hoping to see more of Expedition Everest.

I thought it was OK (no worse than the past several years at least), but the one thing I really noticed was at the very beginning:

Bob Iger *REALLY* needs some charisma/showmanship lessons! It was like having a nondescript accountant introduce the show...Maybe he should just let Mickey do it!

Only thing that bothered me was it seemed I spent a LOT more time watching commercial breaks than the parade.

It was too choppy. Seacrest Introduced the Dancing Snow flakes which were in front of Hippo's at WDW;s Parade. I saw a brief shot of me on main street, but that's it. It wasn't the best parade.

I liked it.. I couldnt stop saying "I wish I was there!".. I loved seeing all the characters..

Always quiet.. most of the singers are kiddos that are on the Disney Channel.. My DD14 enjoyed it as she listens to alot of the singers they had on there singing..

I really enjoyed it. I also got the feeling though too that Kelly really didn't want to be there. I would of given anything to be and she gets to go and no doubt makes big money on top of it for being there.

It reminded me why they tape it ahead of time. When they were showing the parade at 10 AM here in Orlando it was a rainy, dreary day not the bright sunny one you saw on TV.

I didn't see it, but I am curious what Star Jones did. Does anyone know. Can't imagine why they would want her at the Disney Christmas parade. :confused3

She showed you around at SSR. It showed her family having a party, golfing, swimming, going to the parks.

She showed you around a Grand Villa at SSR and how it could accomodate her whole family. How some of the members went golfing, and the others went to the parks. She even cooked the meal in her room... Ah the magic of Disney Chefs. :)

I thought there was far too much non-Disney stuff, like all the singing. Usually they show a lot more of the parks. I would have loved to see more of the foreign parks, particularly. They mentioned how Hong Kong is brand new but barely showed any of it.

There was also some repetition showing DL and WDW parades. First we saw the gingerbread men at DL then we saw them at WDW. Is that the best they could come up with?

Overall, it seemed more like a Christmas show that just happened to be taking place at WDW.
