How did you fair with the new Pirates yesterday???

I didn't play it at all until this morning because I was afraid, lol. I was never good at the old pirates game either.

Well, this morning I played several rounds and I think I like it. My team won several times and I'm still not sure if I know what I'm doing or if I'm holding my own but somehow it seems more user friendly and easier to get credits. I also like the fact that the game moves quickly. I'm sure I'm not the only one who doesn't always have a long time to sit and wait for the rest of the team to die off.

Can someone tell me how you play just the computer? Hubby is very upset about this because he always played the other game with just the computer. I told him it is my understanding that you can't get as many credits that way. Anyway, he was irritated with having to wait for the teams to fill up. Lol, it's not like you have to wait THAT long but he was making the biggest fuss about not being able to start his own game.

So I think I give these games two hearty thumbs up!

The new games are great. Capture the flag is my favorite. I really like the scenes from the POC ride.

I believe you can choose to have computer players. They say that you get fewer credits tho.

Only in battle mode. You can't have AI Pirates in Capture.

Thank you, Mal! You make a great sitting duck.
I spent much of my time just boosting myself and others off Level 1,
but Too, DesertCat and disneyfanlv were there with me 'til the bitter
end trying to boost me to Level 3! I'll see if it worked tonight.

And I love the new music. I call it "Hooked on Pirates", because it reminded
me of "Hooked on Beethoven" in the type of beat used. And I liked it
because it was the POTC movie music.

And the scenes! I really noticed the Carlos in the well scene, and the
auction scene most. Wished I didn't have to play the game so I could
drink in the details! LOL!

And the tiny rowboats are too cute for words. LOL!

You are correct. I tried it one time (I don't want to do it too much when so many people want to play - kind of selfish!) and I won the game and a whopping 17 credits! LOL! I have been playing with friends on Level 1 instead, letting them defeat me so they can get to Level 2, where I am!

I LOVE the new pirates game. I truly get a little rush from Capture the Flag. It is exciting - I was yelling at my screen last night, "Go little boat go! Row! Row! You're almost there! Goooooo!"

Pay to Play - Different Concept, Doesnt really bug me. I think it might be there to encourage people to stay through the entire game

Row Boat - OMG! Hysterical!

Scene from Pirates / Little Characters - I love seeing these throughout the game

Credits -

The I can't see anyone or anything except the water bug - (though I am sure they are working on fixing it)

Level 3 - Never got there. Each time I turned around I bumped into either a new vmk friend or one from when I first joined and kept playing Round 1 to hang and help. Thanks for the fun everyone!

I love the graphics of the new game. The game is easy enought to understand.
I don't understand the icons on the bottom of the window when the game is open. What does the little scrub brush mean?

But I found it rather hard to play the game when I couldn't see any of the ships in the game half the time
