How did this Happen

I went from ok I would like a small contract to go every other year---- to well maybe I need to go every year----- to I REALLY need to go twice a year to---

I want to stay longer---- to I just added on my 5th small point contract!
Stepping over to the Wild Side this time --AKV.

Oh well I'll just consider it an early mother's day gift to myself.

Repeat after me no more contracts!

What is the timeframe it took you from small contract to where you are now?

I am just wondering if I am in danger of doing this too. Just joined October last year.

This sounds familiar. We bought our first small contract Nov, 2009. Before we left for our first trip, we bought another small contract in Feb, 2010. We've taken two trips and are now waiting to close on our 3rd contract! I get "the look" from DW every time I say, "Oooh....look at this contract!"

We just did an add-on on the cruise in March. We hadn't even talked about it, and halfway through the presentation DH just looked at me, and I knew we were in!
Funny, because I don't regret this at all. It makes us so happy just thinking about the possibilities.

It is SOOOO addictive!

We started with 2 contracts, and once we close, we'll have a total of 5. Not sure if we're finished or not. I'd really like to have some points at either BCV or BWV. REALLY wished I could find a VB contract with subsidized MFs! I guess with that being said, we're not finished yet!

Yes I know how you feel. We started with a 175 point BCV contract, and less than a year later, are the proud owners of 4 DVC contracts totaling 695 points. You never think you have enough points until the MF bill arrives in January.

I have been fighting the add on feeling for a while now. We are currently at BWV and in Sept/Oct we are staying at BCV/BLT (first stay for both). DW has always been an AKL fan, but after this trip at BWV, she has a new favorite!!! So we will hold off for a purchase for at least 6 months until we try at least a couple of more places.

We seem to be in the same process. We got our first contract in 2009 for Kadani then added on our first cruise and are not thinking of adding on again on our second cruise.

No regrets yet. Our trips just keep getting better and better

As PP asked, how long did it take to purchase the 5 contracts?

I just purchased my first 56 VWL point contract last May to go every other year. Thinking I would be happy...

Well we just got back from our first DVC stay at BWV... and I started thinking, maybe a few more points wouldn't hurt... One year VWL, next BWV...

I'm afraid I might become a more then "once a year" visitor....

I am curious too how long it seems to takes owners to go from a small contract to several contracts later with hundreds of points. We joined last June with 100 points knowing "someday" we would add on. Well "someday" was this past Feburary. Now we have 270 and I am always looking and the resale listings and seeing what is out there, while convincing myself at the same time that we are good "for now". It would be so easy to add on again!
