How crowded will it likely be Feb 10-17 2024 (President's day is 2/19)

2/10 - 2/17 is our current tentative date, which we didn't realize is leading up to President's Day. I am sure the weekend will be busy (as all weekends are but especially so due to President's Day), but will the week leading up to President's Day be insanely crowded or does the week of President's Day (2/19) draw more crowds?

Wrong thread- did not mean to post this in resorts.

We go every year for the week before and Presidents week. The week leading up to it has never been bad at all. The crowds build towards Friday and Saturday prior to the Monday holiday, but otherwise have never been a problem. I would just check the calendar to see if there are any special events going in which could affect the crowds.

Mardi Gras is Feb 13. Not sure how much this will affect crowds.

Well, we are booked in Port Orleans so I am sure that will be busy if it is during Mardi Gras!

If?

Easter is March 31, 2024

Ash Wednesday is Feb 14

that makes Mardi Gras Feb 13!

I was replying from my phone as I was getting ready to drive after waiting for my kid to come out of his apartment. I didn’t have the time to look it up.

Superbowl Sunday is Feb 11... I've read mixed reviews about whether that tends to be a lower crowd later in the day or not. We'll find out, we'll be there Feb 6 - 13!

If that’s Mardi Gras week as stated above, it will be pretty crazy.

Yes like Jersey Week in November, the week of Fat Tuesday is a busy week because many schools are closed and a perfect time for NOLA folks to get out of town and head to Disney. Since this moves every year it isn't consistent "this week is busy". 2024 I would say it would be the second busiest week of the month since it connects to President weekend days off as well.

I think the Super Bowl used to be a slow DAY, but folks caught on and I don't think it's any different now. Doubt it has any impact unless it were located close by.

We've been going to WDW for ten days some time in the first two weeks of Feb. for 20 years. Crowds will start coming in as early as Thursday for President's week(think long weekend) that weekend is also the Daytona 500 and crowds are in for that long weekend too. Mardi Gras will be a bigger issue it is very busy during Mardi Gras as NOLA moves to WDW. You also get Super bowl weekend. Since it's not in Florida Sunday night should quiet down and if a Florida team is in the game it should be some of the quietest you will see all week. Good luck! We moved our trip up this year because of all the craziness bunched together in 2024.
