How crowded is it over Easter weekend?

We are thinking of coming down over the Easter holiday and are somewhat late in trying to book our stay. Wondered how packed the parks will be over the Easter Holiday. I am trying to decide whether to stay at an onsite hotel and get the FOTL passes, or if I should save some money on hotel and just buy the express pass. We would be coming down on Thursday April 9th and staying through Sunday the 12th. I would like to know if the FOTL passes are a necessity for busier weekends like Easter. Thanks for any information you can give.

Easter is beyond peak season, it's mega peak season.

Have you priced out the Express passes yet? You might actually do better by staying onsite.
