How concrete is having space blocked for you?

I Disney weddings and spoke to a coordinator. We were able to get Sea Breeze Pointe, The Napa at Cg and Lower UK for dessert party. Has anyone had a problem with the space not being there when it was time to sign the contract 8 months out? He has it blocked for now but the worrier in me is nervous about it. Any feedback?

I would guess that in most cases, you will be fine.

Some brides have been bumped (especially from the UK location) for conventions, but that's probably the exception, not the rule. I'm sure a lot of it depends on the time of year too. And the good thing is with Disney, there are lots of wonderful alternatives!

Try not to worry...no matter what, your wedding will be magical!
