How 'combined' are points at 7 months?

What I mean to ask is that if I have 30 points left on one contract and want to use that toward a reservation at 7 months with points from a second (different resorts) is it really all one big pool? The reason I ask is that the nights I need to book are 16 points each. So, using 16 of the 30 leaves 14 (not enough for a second night). So are those 14 able to be combined with 2 from the other contract to equal a whole night? I'm sure I'm making this more convoluted than it needs to be. You think I'd have a handle on it by now!

At 7 months, points are points. The home resort doesn't matter. Note: You can specify which points come from which resort in order to "preserve" more "valuable" points for use later.

If you have one master contract with two add ons then the points can be combined at 7 months. If you have separate contracts then you would need to do a transfer of points from one to the other to be able to combine them.

As long as they are under the same membership, then it is no issue at all. As mentioned, you can specifically where to take the points from when you make the reservation.

For example, if you owned AKV and BLT, you can tell them to ues up all the AKV points and then fill in with BLT.

Great, thanks, everyone. Yes, one master with two add ons, so, all the same contract. Looks like I won't have those 14 WLV points hanging out there which is what I was hoping :)
