How cold is the water for snorkelling this time of year (Feb-March) at Aulani?

doing an Aulani trip in a couple of weeks. hoping to do a catamaran snorkelling trip. However my kids tend to be fussy about how cold the water is (for example, when doing the Dolphin swim at Discovery cove they minded that) and wondering whether to invest in some wetsuits.

Has anyone done snorkelling in Oahu this time of year (Feb-March) and if so how cold was it?

I have never been there earlier than April so no help with the water temp BUT I HAVE done snorkeling excursions that provided wet suits if one wanted...just like they provided snorkels & masks if you didn't bring your own gear. Perhaps you could look for an excursion that offers them?! I probably wouldn't invest in wet suits for kids unless it was something we would be doing often.

Was at Aulani last year at this time and found water beautiful but I guess it all depends on what you are used to.

Average ocean temperature for January - April is 76 degrees.

Don't think you need a wet suit, but I lived here all my life and don't know any better :)

We have found the ocean seems to be warmer than the pool is at Aulani.
