How close to your trip do you book airline tickets?

I think they are at the best deal I can find right now...$84 dollars down to orlando and $59 back on Southwest..Do you book 45 days ahead of time? Is that ok?

I'd grab those fares. I usually book as soon as fares come out. So yeah, go ahead. Those are good fares.

I agree that I would love those fares from my airport.

I buy when I feel the price is "fair". I have a number in mind and I buy when it hits that number, or close to it. I have had to adjust the number over the last year or so, as prices have gone up. Now, I tend to watch airfare all the time.

Unless you're flying from Sanford to MCO I'd grab those fares. We're traveling in December from Pittsburgh and watched as the fares we got ($79 each way) have since jumped to $134 down and $149 back.

I would book as soon as you can. I got mine the day they were first posted and I'm glad I did! I got $135 each way from San Antonio and I don't think they have been that low since. They went up to over $200 each way that same week!

I booked ours the minute they came out. But, we were using Rapid Rewards points for 4 of our 6 tickets, and I wanted to be sure to get seats. The Rapid Reward seats book fast!

We always book ours as soon as we definitely know we are going and if the fare is what I consider reasonably priced. That fare is a great rate. I would go ahead and book.

It depends on when we book ours. Sometimes it is a waiting game and sometimes it is right away. My DH booked our airfare for our upcoming trip in December right after we booked our trip because he was able to get $79 each way out of Chicago.
