... in conversation with relatives/friends who have nt been to WDW, some for financial reasons, others for assuming they'd 'hate a kid's holiday', we've decide to try to put a short break together for sometime next year to DLP as a taster... how short is short? What's the cheapest way to do it? Any suggestions or links to useful threads appreciated. Mike

We've done DLP very cheaply in the past with a great big group of us (adults and children) staying in the nearby village of esbly in the formula one hotel. If you dont mind roughing it a bit. I think it works out at about £15 per night per room per night and you can get three people in a room (one double and one single bunk). Shared toilets and showers. It was clean and warm and the kids loved it.

I think there are other hotels in the village now.

We also got a cheap crossing from Dover to Calais and got our tickets at the park. Worked out at approx £150 per person for a three night four day stay with two days in the park and a day in Paris. The kids and adults all loved it.

regards,

Wheezie
